A Fantastic Day at Our Club Fun Day

Where do we start? What a fantastic day we had at our Fun Day yesterday! The weather certainly played its part, helping to create a brilliant atmosphere and making it an enjoyable day for everyone who came along.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped make the event such a success. The funds raised will go a long way towards helping the club continue to provide opportunities for children in our community throughout the year. From coaching sessions and equipment to events and activities, your support helps us keep the club thriving and accessible for local young people.

Firstly, a huge thank you to John Adam Bakery for very kindly providing the rolls for our BBQ, Shaws Fine Meats for their generous discount on burgers, St Ronan's PTA for donating burgers, and the Peebles Ex-Cornets for the provision of the ever-popular dunk tank. We would also like to thank Joanne Wilson for giving up her time to provide face painting, which was a huge hit with the children throughout the day.

We were also delighted to welcome Hibernian Women's goalkeeper Rowena Armitage along to the event. It was fantastic for the children to have the opportunity to meet a senior player, and they absolutely loved seeing her on the day. Thank you, Rowena, for taking the time to come along and support the club.

A special thank you must also go to all of our coaches, volunteers and helpers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and throughout the event. Whether it was setting up, running activities, helping on the stalls, baking delicious treats or donating raffle prizes, your support was invaluable and greatly appreciated.

Finally, and most importantly, thank you to all of the children who took part and put on such a fantastic show during the day. Seeing their enthusiasm, effort and smiles is what makes events like this so worthwhile. We are incredibly proud of every one of you and the way you represented the club.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported and contributed to the day. It was wonderful to see so many families, friends and supporters come together and celebrate everything that makes our club special. The day was a fantastic success, and we look forward to building on that momentum throughout the season ahead.
